Fundraising Tech & Data

With over two decades of experience, I help nonprofits get the most out of their fundraising tools and data. Whether you’re looking to clean up your CRM, improve donor data, streamline workflows with automation, or explore AI tools that help save time, I'm here to guide you every step of the way. From setup to ongoing support, I make sure your systems are working for you so you can focus on what matters most - making an impact.

My services, provided remotely, are organized around six categories - Assess, Clean, Create, Automate, Train, and Support. While some organizations engage me to assist in all six, others mix and match options from individual categories to meet their needs and specific goals. One of the best things about doing what I do is getting to know folks who are doing the work that is changing the world. So let me share a little bit about myself.

My nonprofit journey began at a small AIDS service organization in Northeast Georgia. In the late 1990s, raising awareness and funds for HIV/AIDS in a largely rural area was no small feat - it required passion, resilience, and creativity. When I first started, my responsibilities included taking out the trash, organizing files, answering phones, and creating a safe, supportive space as I welcomed clients. In short order, I was tasked with leading a new fundraising event as well as managing grant research, writing, and management efforts. This initial experience instilled in me a deep appreciation and understanding of the dedication and flexibility that go into running a successful nonprofit.

By the early 2000s, my focus shifted towards fundraising data. I cut my data teeth on The Raiser’s Edge, diving deep into data management to drive meaningful insights and actions. Since then, I’ve partnered with organizations of all sizes and types across the US, delivering training, consulting, and collaborative work sessions on a variety of fundraising CRMs.

In other words, I’ve done nearly everything you can do in a nonprofit from taking out the garbage to major gift fundraising and everything in between. I get it - the pain points, the stress but also the joys, the successes. It is with this breadth of experience I approach my work with your fundraising data and systems.

Today, my family and I are happy to call Bowling Green, Kentucky home. The cute pup in the image with me is the most precious creature in the world, Pearl.
